In collaboration with Nexedi, an open source solutions provider from France, we are working on the development and implementation of a complete ERP suite called ERP5. This solution is built using some of the most advanced technologies from the open source domain. It has been successfully implemented for several organisations over varied domains and has also won deserving accolades in the European region – the hub of open source innovation.

ERP5 has a generic ERP framework which covers a wider range of applications than traditional ERPs, thanks to extensible component technology. ERP5 is a Free Software published under GNU General Public Licence, whose source code can be freely redistributed, customised or extended by ERP5 service providers or by ERP5 users.

ERP5 has been originally designed as a production oriented ERP solution. Product design, component sourcing, bills of material, customer relation management, production management with MRP, order tracking and order shipping are the kind of features at which ERP5 has always been strong. With this base ERP5 has now evolved with a very strong financial suite that can handle from general ledger to pay slip generation. ERP5 accounting model also includes innovative features which greatly simplifies multi-key analytical accounting in large organisations.
